Before September 21st, ask Andrew Mitchell MP to include older people in healthcare

Urgent: on that date, there is a UN meeting about Universal Health Coverage. Please sign our letter asking him to ensure older people aren’t forgotten.

Dear Minister,

The world’s population is rapidly ageing. As the world ages the number of older people living with chronic diseases or a disability is increasing.

Despite this, around the world, healthcare systems are not meeting even the basic needs of older people.

Universal Health Coverage offers huge opportunities to improve access to basic healthcare. But for it to be truly universal, health systems need to meet the needs of all ages, including older people.

Please ensure older people are included in commitments to Universal Health Coverage made at the United Nations in September.
